Safety Guidelines
Last Updated: March / 1 / 2026
At CleanoutHub, safety is a shared responsibility between customers and independent HubHaulers. While CleanoutHub provides the platform that connects users, all services are performed by independent third parties. The following guidelines help ensure a safe and professional experience for everyone.
For Customers
Be Accurate in Your Job Posting
Provide clear descriptions, accurate photos, and honest details about the items to be removed. Disclose heavy materials, hazardous items, stairs, tight access, pets, or any safety concerns in advance.
Do Not Post Prohibited Items
Hazardous waste, chemicals, explosives, biohazards, and illegal materials must not be included in any job request. Review our Prohibited Items Policy for full details.
Ensure Safe Access
Make sure pathways are clear and safe for removal. Secure pets and remove tripping hazards prior to the HubHauler’s arrival.
Communicate Clearly
Use the CleanoutHub messaging system to confirm arrival time, pricing, and scope of work before the job begins.
Payment
Payment is made directly between the customer and the HubHauler unless otherwise specified. Confirm pricing before work begins.
For HubHaulers
Operate Legally
You are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws, including licensing and disposal regulations.
Carry Proper Insurance
HubHaulers are responsible for maintaining any required insurance coverage for their business operations.
Use Proper Equipment
Use appropriate tools, lifting techniques, and safety gear for each job.
Do Not Accept Prohibited Jobs
If a customer requests removal of hazardous or illegal materials, decline the job and report the listing.
Communicate Professionally
Confirm pricing, scope, and timing before beginning work. Use the platform’s messaging system whenever possible.
Personal Safety Recommendations
Meet During Daylight When Possible
For first-time jobs, consider scheduling during daylight hours.
Trust Your Instincts
If a situation feels unsafe, you may leave and report the issue.
Do Not Share Sensitive Information
Avoid sharing personal financial details, private contact information, or unrelated personal data.
Emergency Situations
If you encounter an emergency or immediate threat, contact local authorities first. CleanoutHub is not an emergency service.
Platform Responsibility Disclaimer
